For this young family’s existing character home in Subiaco, we’ve reimagined the heart of the house to better suit modern living. The project focuses on transforming a dated kitchen into a bright, open, and functional space. By thoughtfully reconfiguring the internal walls - including pushing out one wall - we’ve maximized the kitchen footprint, creating an inviting and spacious environment for cooking, dining, and family time.

Alongside the kitchen, the laundry has received a fresh makeover, improving both its practicality and aesthetic to complement the home’s updated flow.

The result is a seamless blend of contemporary design within the charm of the original character home - enhancing daily living for the family while respecting the home’s unique identity.
